Research
Our research foci are illustrated by the adjacent drawing.
The research methods typically applied are physical and numerical models, being calibrated and validated by experimental data from field and prototype measurements. Often, an application of the so-called hybrid modeling technique, i.e. a combination of experimental methods and numerical simulations, allows to draw even more precise conclusions and to optimize the model results compared to mere physical or numerical modeling.
