Flood and sediment routing in river systems: FLORIS2000
In the frame work of the development of a decision support system the numerical algorithms of the computer program Floris (FLOod Routing in RIver Systems) were reengineered and an additional sediment transport module was developed.
Now Floris2000 called, it is the core part of the software package FluxDSS/DESIGNER which is distributed by SCIETEC.
Different companies and institutions contributed to this software. Beside flow and sediment transport modules, it comprises also options to implement gate and weir controlling for hydro power plants and inverse modelling as well as a graphical user interface:
