Infrastructure

The HIA building consists of a large, state-of-the-art laboratory of hydraulics for the construction of large scale physical models for research as well as teaching purposes. The diverse physical models are all prototypes developed by our engineers and designers. The construction of the models is carried out by our in-house workshops, which consist of a mechanical workshop, a locksmith, a carpentry and model construction workshop.

The hydraulic model investigations are conducted with state-of-the-art measurement equipment, which is set up and maintained by the personnel of our electronics workshop.

Professional photograph and video recording for the visualization of flow and the documentation of scientific reports are part of the scope of perfomance.
